My husband had incontinence with his enlarged prostate. His urologist did a "urolift" which placed stents that help the ureter have enough room to operate. Much of his issue was that he never truly emptied his bladder and it was always full. Now, he has little or no urine retention. Also, they advised that he should avoid constipation, which also blocks the ureter. Of course, this was an ongoing problem, so his bladder is not great. His life since the urolift is much better; less incontinence and nighttime wakening.
