I have a question for you. I received my second dose of Moderna on February 9th. I just had a blood draw for antibodies. The results showed "Nonreactive". I am still waiting to speak with the doctor to find out for sure, but my guess is I have no antibodies. I am a Kidney Transplant patient (Nov. 2006) and am immunosuppressed. Would it be safe to go visit my grandkids? Thank you.

My unmedical opinion...if your grandkids are not in the "risk group" and are young, and healthy...I would visit. Where your mask and they could too.. be clean safe and HAPPY!
Ask your doc to be sure.

@jeffdavis0617- That's an excellent question. Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I'm not sure that there is a credible answer to that yet. I think that you need to check with your transplant doctor, as you plan to do. I hope that you can!

Would you feel comfortable wearing a mask and seeing them? Are their parents vaccinated?

I would definitely speak to your doctor about this.
