I was expecting this - and am so happy! Our second doses were 2 1/2 weeks ago.
We had our little boys all day yesterday for the first time without masks - giving our daughter and son-in-law their very first "day off" since last March to celebrate their birthdays. Then we gathered after supper for gifts and cupcakes. As the old weekly paper "social columns" used to say, a wonderful time was had by all.
We still all wore our masks when we went out to choose Mommy's birthday flowers, and will continue to do so when in public. (A 2 year old in a mask is priceless!)
And we only know of one restaurant where we are willing to eat inside - the others are too big or too crowded, or not careful enough...
