@helennicola ...yes I will let you know... it's odd but I never ever have asked a dentist what they use for numbing agent until lately... I found a site where they explain "testing" of various meds: skin pin prick tests, injections etc., but they don't do them where I live and the way I feel I can't travel. but it's all very complicated... especially if the person being tested has other "allergies" and illnesses as many of us do... I just cant summon the strength or desire to get out of bed today.
One story I must tell you about: it was a Case History of man having very bad reaction to dental medication and he got furious at the dentist; ambulance called and the dentist even accompanied the man to hospital, all the while being berated by the patient. Long story short: turned out it wasn't the numbing agent but an allergic reaction from the man eating and having reaction to the shrimp he ate at lunch, and going to the dentist a few hours later!!! Unless Neurologist says "no" I am getting the tooth out Thursday as I cant afford to let it go and then be on antibiotics.... thanks for answering. June

June, what an interesting story, our bodies can be so strange! I hope you are feeling much better soon and wish you luck with the dentist visit, getting that tooth out should make you feel better in the long run. Teeth are another issue but I won’t go there!🙄😁 Helen
