@lacy2

I do realize I am a "guest" on this U.S.A. site... thank you.. but just checked Canada.ca site and they have section:
Vaccine safety, concerns and possible side effects.
So am not feeling up to checking it all today as quite lengthy, but did notice they have listed the Medicinal Ingredients and Non-Medicinals ingredients of Pfizer, Moderna, and AstraZeneca (not the Johnson and Johnson yet).

Not sure if this is of help to residents either here or in U.S.A. as am sure there are many similar sites: but what has me curious is....
Question: Is it possible that some recipients are "allergic"to or getting differnt side effects caused by the non-medicinal ingredients rather than the actual main medicinal ingredient , or am I over-thinking this? J.

@lacy2 You might be on an interesting point as to allergy. And it's important to remember that all of these Covid vaccines do NOT contain "live" Covid virus. Therefore, you can't get the Covid virus from the vaccine. The vaccine's job is to build up antibodies in our system so we can fight the actual virus if we're exposed to it. That being said, even the best vaccine is only 95% effective, so 5 out of every 100 people could still get the virus if exposed to it. Personally, I like those odds! Best, Laurie
