Welcome to a great info site. Go to a GI doc for symptoms. Change your diet to Low Acid which means no spicy foods. No Italian, No Mexican, No fried, fatty foods or junk food snacks. No Soda, No booze, low acid coffee only, No lemons, limes, OJ, No tomato or vinegar based products. Melon and ripe bananas are OK. Eat chicken breast and baked fish. Eat Broccoli, spinach, Brussel sprouts. No peppers or pepper of any kind. I drink unsweetened almond milk which is alkaline. Non dairy, soy free, gluten free and is 1 carb per cup. Exercise more. Don't eat 3hrs before bed. Drink lot's of water. I also have gastrtis which I can't get rid of. My gerd is gone staying on this diet. I also do not eat out at fast food joint's. I hope this helps you out. This is what works for me.

Your diet, while quite restrictive has made a difference in your health, @riflemanz64! I congratulate you on your ability to make these modifications to your lifestyle in order to feel better.
Just wondering, do you take meds for your GI problems?
