Hi Jake, I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I lost my dad about the same time ago and it's still really tough. I heard someone say that you don't get over rather through these difficult losses. My prayers will be with you.
Helen's post about Turmeric caused me to do a little research on the contraindications, risks, side effects, etc. on it and I was very surprised to learn what I did. I will have to talk to my pharmacist b/c I'm on so many toxic meds and so many supplements. Check this site out: https://www.drugs.com/mtm/turmeric.html
Also, I was told about a GREAT resource for everything you would need and want to know about supplements. I believe it costs about $40 give or take, per year? Consumerlab.com

Sunny, thanks for posting that sight, there are numerous resources which support my prior warning all of which I neglected to mention warning about the possible side effects of tumeric. That one included most of the things to watch out for; I always research any new drug, vitamin or supplement before taking as a precaution. Thanks again for catching that. Best, Helen

Ooops, forgot to tell you that I am taking triple strength turmeric with curcumin 900mg/95% curcuminoids with black pepper aka Bioperine 5mg. I take The Vitamin Shoppe brand. Best, Sunnyflower
