We need to find out where to report this because I’ve read that it’s unusual and not many cases being reported!! I want to report it so they know just how common it is!!

I know one thing for sure, no covid vaccine for me and never another flu shot!!

I saw a video that states that one of the side effects of the covid vaccine is autoimmune diseases. Beware!!

I’ve received a flu shot since I was a teen. I’ve never had any issues. I feel with the number of flu cases down in the country 98% according to nightly news last night the vaccine this year was stronger. I’m not a doctor but I know my body . Something doesn’t ad up this time.

I just had my first Covid vaccination. If getting a flu shot caused me to have PMR perhaps the Covid vaccine will take it away.LOL

After my COVID shot ive been experiencing major pain in legs and pain in both arms that permeate down to joint, Major muscle pain in calf’s and joint pain. I thought maybe thyroid! I’ve been drinking hot tea to see if it goes away. j can’t even walk the distance i was walking my dogs. I’m 58, Now i go 1/2 block and return hime and I’m exhausted and I’m usually very healthy, i eat organic s, blueberries for inflammation. I knew i should not have taken that COVID SHOT, I’ve never even taken a flu shot, I usually have a great immune system. Someone told me to drink BONE BROTH. I’m going to sip on that! Very worrisome!

I have had PMR for over 5 years. Was diagnosed in January 2017. Tapered off in Dec 2019. Used balanced CBD/THC to control pain. I really debated the Covid Vaccine, did much research, finally decided to go with pfizer. No side-effects with the first shot, a week or so after the second shot I realized that my PMR was in remission. There are 2 sides to the coin

The NIH should be very interested.

All adverse drug reactions should be reported to the FDA adverse reaction reporting system. Here is the link to get started -
https://www.fda.gov/drugs/drug-approvals-and-databases/fda-adverse-event-reporting-system-faers

My PMR was the result of an adverse reaction to my second Shingrix vaccination. It has been reported. It is only through the FDA having data on the adverse events as they occur that valid stats can be developed and problems can be identified and measured. Us talking about them is good but reporting it is better. It is up to us to let them know about each adverse reaction.

I had issues beginning a few days after my second covid vaccine. Shoulder and collarbone pain, then tailbone. Took 2 months to get a diagnosis. That was in September. I’ve been ok on lower dose of prednisone but currently experiencing a flare up effecting my knees and neck. Trying 10mgs a day now. That’s my highest dose so far. I am afraid to get the booster.

I think these autoimmune diseases are a rare reaction to the covid vaccine, but I also was diagnosed with PMR after getting my second booster. No side effects at all from the first three shots. It's hard to know if you want to risk Covid or PMR. I'm glad I got the first three shots but I certainly don't want to risk another bout of PMR so probably won't get any more boosters, including a flu shot, at least not this year.

I got PMR after booster Covid shot last December 2021 after recovering from back and hip issues after 2nd Covid shot in April 2021. I would not get another shot for $1 million. I'm still on 10 mg prednisone with bowel and back issues now 10 months after booster

ABSOLUTLELY!!!!! I am 99.9% sure (as well as my rheumatoligist has stated) that the Covid vaccine was the culprit in bringing on my PMR. It started after I had the second vaccine, but because it was so subtle, it did not occur to me that it was initiated by it. I have been healthy all my life, but the symptoms that came about were herendous and made me severely ill until I found out what it was. Although I have to say that I have never had a reaction to the flu shot. I will NEVER have another Covid vaccine as long as I live.
