@marley1, I have sleep apnea and have had soreness on the inside of my nose while using my CPAP. I tried one of the products I found at my local medical store called RoEzIt which is a moisturizer with Aloe Vera. It worked really well at keeping the nose moisturized and prevented it from getting sore for me. I'm not sure you can buy the product anymore but according to my sleep therapist that first recommended it to me, any moisturizer that is petroleum free will work.
