Yes we are lucky here in New Zealand that we do t have COVID in the community. However I’m nervous having yet another surgery and is hard to be confident that this will work ? I am only 54 and I was told this procedure limits range of movement and would put a lot of pressure on my custom cage that hold my implant . I was told 5/ /8 years is this true ?

"I am only 54 and I was told this procedure limits range of movement and would put a lot of pressure on my custom cage that hold my implant . I was told 5/ /8 years is this true ?" I think you are asking how long this revision might last - you need to rely on your doctors for that assessment - we aren't in a position to know your individual situation.
I wish you the very best of luck with this new try at fixing the problem.

Have you tried physical therapy for your orthopedic issues?
Have you had any second opinions?
Surgery should always be the last option if possible.
I wish you well.
