This procedure is called Moh's surgery. I have had it done several times on my face, (nose twice) and legs. It is an uncomfortable process, but very safe.
It also leaves a noticeable scar, which I thought to be the worst effect of this type of surgery, as mine were very deep! My scars are still bad after several years.
Skin cancer, unless it is a Melanoma, is probably not something to worry that much about as it is easily removed. That sounds a bit harsh, but believe me, as someone who gets one either cut off or burned off twice a year, is a minor procedure. So please don't worry.

mermaid7272, there is a form of vitamin E called Deta Tocotrienol that may help with your frequent skin cancers. Alway consult with your health care professional before useing any supplement.
