My Skeleton hurts
Heyo, Alaethia here.
My skeleton hurts.
Lemme explain. I went to the chiropractor 7 weeks ago, because I accidentally dislocated a rib, and my sister has gone to the same chiropractor with amazing results. However I left the chiropractor in more pain then before. Now they told me I'd experience muscle pain for a few days because the manual adjustment will be a shock to the muscles and they have to move back where they're supposed too, but... that was 7 WEEKS ago. And since then I've had intense skeletal and joint pain, and not in any specific area either. Somedays my arms and wrists and fingers are in agony, and the rest is at a dull ache, other days its my legs and feet, or my neck and shoulders, or my ribs and spine, or even a combination of all these. I've had pain to the point I cant walk and I cant pick up things or even hold them. Every touch hurts, and its like I can feel every bone. Its like I can feel individually my fibula and tibia, And each flange bone down to the tip, each rib each vertebrae. I'm getting some blood work done and I'm going to try to also see another naturopath. But I hoped maybe you all had some answers. The best way I can describe my pain is both an ache, and if you had a puzzle and everything is in its place, but not quite together all the way. I dont have joints out, but I feel like I need to be squeezed or compacted back to normal. Please help

@alaethia, I see that you've also written about nasal pain post surgery here:

I also read in your profile that you are 19 years old, so this kind of pain seems out of the ordinary. It also sounds like you are experiencing pain in places that were not manipulated by the chiropractor. You mention that you're getting some blood work done. Does that mean that you've been to see your doctor? What are they suspecting?
Yes @colleenyoung I actually didn't have an official doctor, as I moved around a lot through the years. But the doctor I saw suspected maybe hormones that haven't been released in a while being a pain, or maybe other things. They're testing the thyroid, and chemicals in the body, and also testing for arthritis and similar things. At the beginning I wasn't super worried and I didn't wanna bother anyone, but by 6 weeks I decided it isn't normal so I went to see a doctor. I've honestly.. I mean I've always had aches and such but I thought that was normal. Till I went to the chiropractor and they said pain WASNT normal. Soooo yeah
Hello @alaethia . It sounds like you have had some level of aches and pains for some time in your life and potentially had something going on leading up to your chiropractic care. I am sure you are anxious to get your test results back for thyroid, chemical imbalance potential, and arthritis to know what you can and should do next for care.
When is your appointment for these tests?
