@colleenyoung

@lotsofpain, I've used kinesiology tape to help retrain me to hold a better posture. I have a habit of slouching my shoulders forward and need to build muscles to create a habit of better posture. The KT tape helps remind me, especially when sitting at the computer. Like @imatine said, I don't use it always or for long periods of time or else I would just become accustomed to the tape and the reminder and ignore it. That's just my experience. But I'd like to bring @sabine66 @marye2 and @sueinmn into this conversation too.

@lotsofpain, did you use KT tape for your hip issues as described in this past discussion? https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/hip-pain-2/?pg=1#comment-386465 Did it help?

Hi physio to try on my hip but ended up using a wide bandage plus tape on my lumbar spine.
