Hi, Theresa. The second paragraph in your reply is me. This has been really bad for the last six months, maybe longer. I lose train of thought in mid sentence. I at one point couldn't pronounce, words I've used for years. That for the most part has stopped, but I'm still struggling with my memory of words.

Hello @tired,

I'm wondering about your general health. What other symptoms or problems have you been having? I'm thinking about problems with fatigue, sleep, problems walking straight, etc. Have you had a physical exam recently where you have been able to talk about this problem with your doctor? If not, this might be a good first step.

A consultation with both a neurologist as well as an endocrinologist might also be a good idea. I've recently joined a support group for people with immune disorders and memory and brain fog problems are very common with immune disorders.

I look forward to hearing from you again.

I block out what people are telling me because of an abusive childhood. Anxiety wells up and I'm afraid of what bad things they might say. I also hate like I'm going to feel overwhelmed. My anger toward people in general is also out of control. I think I'm losing it unless I'm in very calm environment. That's hard to find! Can anyone relate? PS: What does mild cognitive imparment mean? Could I have that too after all these years? Maria.
