Hello @happyat76, @erikas, @funcountess and @cyn77. I have chronic hip bursitis. I have NO knee pain. Bursitis is also called Iliotibial Band Syndrome and Trochanter Bursitis: https://www.upmc.com/services/sports-medicine/conditions/it-band-syndrome

There are some GREAT exercises to stretch the iliotibial band that really work! I just do them 3 times a day, 3 repetitions holding each for 20 seconds. You can REALLY feel the band stretching! Here are a few websites that demonstrate some exercises. I don't see mine on there exactly. Mine are easy b/c I lie flat, bend the affected knee and rotate it to the opposite unaffected side. You can feel the stretch right away. Hold for 20 seconds and repeat 3 times. Do this 3 times a day.

I am not a licensed anything so please check with your doctor first. Warmest wishes, Sunnyflower
