@campberj - From what I've read it's used to help improve walking in patients with multiple sclerosis.

Did your doctor recommend using the topical foot treatment for pain?

Again, I don't experience pain. I've read the ncbi.nim.nih study and others conducted since 2013. I plan to ask for a prescription of the topical 4-Aminopyridine cream and see if it has any benefits. There are several very interesting clinical studies on it's use for MS. My neuropathy symptoms are largely MS symptoms. The topical treatment shows 20 to 80 % effectiveness on symptoms in one study, but no effect on the progressive condition itself. I think it's worth a try, if I can walk a little better for a few months or years. If it works, it will present dramatic and quick results. I'll keep the group posted.
