I have PTSD, & I can't find help in DE...
Where can I find competent help in DE? I'm miserable, it was definitely difficult for me before COVID-19, but it's much worse now. I've been to a psychiatrist in the past. He's since passed away, but all that he wanted to talk about 5 years ago was politics, and not about helping me. My significant other shows me absolutely no affection or attention, which makes things even more difficult for me. I missing being around and talking with other people. What has gotten me through all of this so far, is my faith in God.

Faith in God, you are fortunate indeed. Struggling with bipolar for a life time, I found much help in Christ Jesus expressed with Christian Science. I recommend you go to there website and listen to the Wed healing service at 11am PT. There are practioners you can call and for a small fee, receive prayerful support.
You have a lot going on....arrgg. When I have a thought I don't like, I tell my mind to delete it. And this usually works. One issue with depression is negative self talk. You could be creative and imagine a vacuum cleaner removing the thought. After decades of bipolar issues and plenty of study, I have a suitcase full of methods to help with my issues, from prayer, nutrition, vitamins, herbs, massage, exercise, journeling, art, music, and study.
I believe that she would be able to find good health care providers for mental health from any NAMI resource. Mayo provides the best information and patient care.
