XyliMelts. Suggested by my rheumatologist for my Sjogrens. Available everywhere and Amazon. Can't sleep without them. If I forget, I wake up and know exactly what I've forgotten. They stimulate saliva and gently adhere to gum between molar and cheek. Non-acidic. No wheat, fish, eggs, etc. Can be used in daytime too. They're great and a necessity for me.

I know this is an old thread but Xylimelts are amazingly effective. I am surprised more people on here haven’t referred to them.

I rarely wake in the night with dryness since I have been using them.

There is only one downside to them, (which only goes to show how effective they are in producing saliva), and that is drool. I always seem to end up with a smear of white hardened residue on the upper edge of my bed covers. It comes off easily on wash days though.

Interestingly I can nearly always tell how long I have been asleep if I wake for any reason, due to the amount that the lozenge has dissolved. If there is a lot left then I have only been asleep one or two hours. If only a little left of the lozenge, then about six hours.
