I understand your frustration. The doctor tomorrow will tell you what to do and what to eat immediately. That is his or her call based on your condition, current diet, and any other meds you may be taking. Also you should be asked about your lifestyle and if the doctor is not an expert on diabetes, you should ask for a referral to a nutritionist. if you want to read about it, just type diabetes symptoms and treatment, and you will learn more than you ever dreamed in a short time. Believe that this condition can be fixed and also believe that you can be determined to change your eating habits and your worry habits, as well, to prevent damage to your eyes, your hearing, and your mind for your future, and live a healthy, long life. We can offer support after the doctor diagnoses and prescribes the best approach for you. Everyone is different. My husband wouldn't accept advice and died young while I watched him decline and couldn't
make a difference. He had an eating disorder and ate constantly, mostly away from home. He also ended up with a terrible cancerous tumor after he was treated somewhat for prostate cancer. That is why I am so dedicated to helping others when I can, but the doctor must prescribe the treatment. Dorisena
