Dry Eye & PN

@rwinney

@lioness @testudo Science states peripheral neuropathy can affect eyes with causes of dryness. Studies suggest that many cases of dry eye have evidence of neuropathic pain that arises from chronic disorders of, as well as acute damage to, the corneal nerves. PN has such a wide spectrum of possible dysfunction that it's easy to blame many things on it. But, we're all different, with different types of PN and it gets mind boggling. I suggest when in doubt, ask your Dr.

Thanks rwinny, trying to get set up with a neurologist. Probably need a referral from GP. In the meantime working on getting the glucose down from 115 with hope of least halting any “progression“?

@rwinney I had dry eyes first now neuropathy so it's like which came first chicken or egg 🥚 But right now trying to get an appointment with neurosurgeon is like pulling teeth Now I have to get a new referral so it,ll be another month probably . Do you realize we have been in isolation for 6 months now no wonder people are depressed right now I have been in morning till I tell myself get dressed and go for a walk 😜
