I live in Fl lots of sunshine. But my doc says that doesn’t matter if your body doesn’t produce it. My levels were very low. I can maintain 50 only by taking 5000 mg a day. So you really need to know your levels

Chatty, Well you're staying very comfortably above the common cutoff of 30. I think most docs aren't very concerned if pt no. is in the 20's, but below 20 starts getting their attention. i was surprised at my last check my number was at the highest I've known it to be (37.4) since starting sunbathing. I take it from your post that you maintain an acceptable level only by supplementation.
