@erlinda2003 Welcome to Mayo Connect. That must be frustrating to have a recurrent infection. What has your primary care or urologist said about this? Is the antibiotic being used not the right one for your situation? Has the infection become resistant to that antibiotic? Perhaps the course of antibiotics is not long enough?

When you say it is recurring, how many times has the infection occurred? Have they done any culture of it to see exactly what to use?
