@brayimee Aimee, as I read your symptoms, could you be having panic attacks as part of your problem? Xanax is actually used for panic attacks. Have you checked your mitral valve in your heart to see if it is working right? If it does not open and close right, it can cause panic attacks. I hope I have not added insult to injury here. @lorirenee1 I welcome all advice and ideas. I need to get better for my family and myself.
I have no doubt I've had a few because of this pain. I have only been using the Xanax a month or so and not everyday. It does help calm be down, but I still feel a lot of symptoms.
My cardiologist didn't feel the need to do any more testing. I had asked about POTS/ dysautonomia. He said it's a possibility, but he'd just give me a pill to slow heart rate. I said no, because I don't know if I actually have these. I don't want to treat something I might not have.
