What's your experience with Vertiflex Superion Implant?

I moved my app for Vertiflex to sept 1st

I just got back from the doctor to get a facet shot. I had some bad news that the implant slipped and that is probably why it is not doing me any good. He is going to call the company. He said it is not dangerous, but nor is it doing me any good. He was busy doing surgery so I could not have a full discussion. I am so upset. I made an appointment for next Thursday as that is the day he sits and consults.

By the way, if u could tell your doctor about what I wrote you. Would appreciate it

@esperanza22 I am so sorry that your implant slipped. Horrid. I hope it can be put back where it belongs without too much difficulty? I know nothing about your particular implant, but just had a DRG stimulator implanted in me, and it is not working very well at all. However, I have been told that it take at least 2-3 months to get it right. Who knows. Anyway, I am so sorry for what you are going through, and kind of know how it feels.......Lori Renee

Thanks you for your input. He is going to call the company and see what they say. I don't want anymore surgery, probably in time lI would like to take it out.
My cousin goes to a doctor in Weil Cornell and I will make an appointment with him as he does those implants and would like to speak with him. Thank you and good luck to you. Wish I knew someone else that had it, but I don't.

My gosh ! How does that happen ? Yes I would be upset too wonder when that happened right after or lately? I actually haven’t talk to the doctor that’s going to do my back it’s always he’s PA that I see but my next app is first if September when I’m suppose to get it done. I will tell him what happened to you if I have a chance but I take 2 Valium before I go in that morning so I don’t know if I’ll be able to talk much but I go back a week later and I still won’t see him even then . Last time I was in there tho I did mention that you were still in pain with your foot numb and that he only put one implant in you she said “ I wonder why just one ? “ that’s all she said but she told me about a man that got 2 put in but he needed 4 but Medicare will only allow 2 so he was so happy with it he came back and got the other 2 more and paid cash for them ... let me know what he says Thursday I’m so sorry that has happened to you I pray it doesn’t to me

My doctor called the representative and now I have to go to get a cat scan as they do not know whether if broke off or slid off. Will let u know.

Wonder if there’s different sizes of those ? I would think there would be I mean surely 1 size fits all is not how that would be so if they have different sizes maybe he didn’t put the right size in you just wondering what would make it slip ... I’m think I’m s
