The Right Diagnosis: H. Pylori infection
Howdy, Ya'all!
I want to let you know that I finally have the RIGHT diagnosis. I'm on Day 10 of the 14-day treatment plan for my H. Pylori bacterial stomach infection and I feel fantastic! The abdominal pain, nausea, loss of appetite, fatigue and weight loss are almost a thing of the past. I've gained 2 lbs of body weight since I began treatment 9 days ago! I feel like I've been given a whole new body and a second chance at life!
Thank you all for your support during this challenging, 10-month long living Hell that I wouldn't wish upon even my worst enemy.

Kidprodigy, what is your treatment plan?
Yes, I went ahead and re-posted "The Right Diagnosis" message to my previous discussion thread and would be happy to answer any questions concerning my H. Pylori symptoms, diagnosis and treatment.
The H. Pylori discussion thread you shared with me has comments from others who's suffered from this debilitating bacterial infection that sound all too familiar to me. The symptoms, diagnosis and treatments mentioned are 100% in-line with my 10-month journey through the depths of Hell.
Thank you for sharing Dr. Amy Oxentenko's H. Pylori video with me. I'll be sure to watch it carefully and take notes!
My treatment plan consists of the most popular first-line triple therapy which comes in brand name form known as PrevPac. I've got the generic version which offers a significant costs savings (i.e. <$10 vs. $1,000 for the PrevPac). The 14-day combo treatment regimen breakdown looks like this:
Amoxicillin 1,000mg x 2 per day (breakfast and dinner)
Clarithromycin (Biaxin) 500mg x 2 per day (breakfast and dinner)
Omeprazole (Prilosec) 40mg x 2 per day (breakfast and dinner)
The 3 medications should be taken concurrently and with a meal as the Clarithromycin is a real gut buster when taken on an empty stomach.
Congratulations! It is really nice to hear when someone finally is getting well! Very happy for you.
Good to be here guys
Here is a story of my experience.
Hi guys!! New update and what i discovered.
The last time i posted on this issue, i stated that i took flagyl and got huge relief for one day and then it came back. The past few weeks have been hectic for me as it got worse. These are what I discovered:
First, my eating habit is very poor.
2, I was having chest heaviness especially after eating. It feela like I had a sore/wound in my osoephagus.
3. I have had 2 refluxes while sleeping in the past.
4. At a point when i drink water, it was like the water passed through my heart. Which means a wound in the throat.
I consulted people and went to the doctor. They all said it's ulcer. I agreed with them cos of my past experiences with refluxes and acidity.
In order to confirm my ulcer, i went to do blood test which confirmed I had H.pylori bacteria. I have started using the right antibiotics and I am getting huge relief. I also identified some food triggers like pepper, acidic food like oranges etc makes life worst. I have cut them off until my esophagus heals.
In summary, if you know you have a poor eating habit, then this mysterious shortness of breath is linked to GERD, Ulcer, reflux esophagitis and the other of its families.
Omeprazole/proton pump inhibitor also played huge role.
At the end i bought the complete ulsakit drug which contains omeprazole and other two antibiotics which works better than flagyl for matters regarding stomach and intestine.
I hope this helps someone outhere.
Here is the drug, my doctor prescribed me.
The most annoying thing about my case was that i was having chest tightness/pressure that looked like angina/heart related stuff. This was esophagus spasm due to my damaging esophagus.
I feel really great now, my body is healing
Kid Prodigy, I would be interested to know all your symptoms. I have been diagnosed with GERD and have come a long way since all this first started in May 2019. Been on Omeprazole 40 MG twice daily almost a year now. I still have chest heaviness and difficulty at getting that free breathing feeling and yes alot of times it is after eating but no always. I had a sinus infection 2 weeks ago and was given an antibiotic and I swear I almost felt normal again. But here we are 2 weeks later and feeling the same.
Your ULSAKIT is very similar to the generic "Prevpac" triple therapy I am currently taking. See my previous reply to this thread for details on the exact drug cocktail and dosing instructions.
My H. Pylori infection symptoms can be summarized as follows:
* Burning, gnawing stomach pain (which peaks late at night and upon waking in the morning when I haven't eaten anything for awhile)
* Extreme nausea, upset stomach
* Excessive deep belching after meals
* Loss of appetite
* Unexplained weight loss
* Chronic fatigue
* Depression / suicidal thoughts
* Low-grade fever (i.e. <100 degF)
* Chills
* Night sweats

I had H Pylori and acid reflux along with a bleeding ulcer.
Don't take any ibuprofen as it causes bleeding.
No eating 3 hrs before bedtime .
Low acid diet only.
