Do back injuries cause nausea?

I am not sure what the injury is, maybe a muscle or maybe a crushed disc which I have had before. I am waiting to get an xray. But lately I have a great deal of nausea and burping. I am taking therapy and the exercises are a little strenuous, so I wonder if they could be causing the nausea. When I had my pacemaker put in it was causing problems with the vagus nerve and that caused a lot of nausea and vomiting. Just wondering. Thanks.

Pain anywhere in my experience can cause nausea. So far mid and lower back pain have not except with sudden onset, but neck pain has.. but usually along with a headache. I know chest pain can cause nausea which I have without heart problems. A friend of my husband had only the symptoms of nausea and vomiting and was having a heart attack. Nsaids can cause the nausea.. burping may come with it.
