Oops, I must’ve been thinking of my cousins caregivers when I wrote that. I met he croaked as in died. Feel free to be as sarcastic as you want, I have broad shoulders.

See? You would think I would learn. This is a perfect example of communication between human being's being 25% prep 50% presentation and 75% luck. I looked at that and I looked at it and did not think of croaked. I decided you meant what you said, the guy is crooked. You can bet the next time I see "crooked" I will be asking myself if "croaked" fits.
