Lori, I like this Ian Carroll guy, he speaks in a straightforward understandable way. I only listened to the part you identified about desipramine. He does say it has some not great side effects but it also has a much higher chance of being effective against pain than duloxetine. That sounds very positive. Glad you found out about this and I hope you have good luck with it if you decide to get started on it. Meanwhile I am very hopeful the DRG stimulator is going to be a big help to you as well. Hank

@jesfactsmon Yes, Hank, Ian Caroll is so bright, but just plain speaking. I did get my doc to prescribe this drug. Look for my update on my DRG trial. I just posted it. Done with the trial, on to surgery, July 9……take care, and thanks for all of your kindess. Lori
