Hi @hammad and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I'd also like to bring @allis9560 and @bearly into this discussion.

Hammad, just last year (March 2019) the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted accelerated approval to the first immunotherapy treatment for triple-negative breast cancer breast cancer. It combines the drug atezolizumab (Tecentriq) with a form of chemotherapy. You can read more about the treatment here:

Has this been discussed with you as a treatment option?

I came across a fascinating article today from the prestigious international journal NJP Nature Precision Oncology which revealed that an extract of honeybee venon apparently induces cancer cell death in hard to treat triple-negative and HER2-enriched breast cancer with minimal effect on healthy cells.

@elizm, interesting and hopeful article for women with hard to treat triple negative breast cancer. It was completely clear in the article, but it sounds like the study is still in the early pre-human trial phase. Let's hope that the safety and efficacy studies on humans continue with positive results.

@syska, beautiful picture. Would you like to add it to your profile?
