@trellg132 I really am stunned that your doctor did not advise you on ways to improve your fatty liver. I hope you will seek a second opinion, by a hepatologist if possible. If not a hepatologist then by a different doctor of internal medicine. Hepatologists can be difficult to find unless you are close to a major medical center.

When you seek a second opinion from the same type of doctor it generally is best to not go to a doctor within the same medical arena, such as working for the same hospital. They tend to really not want to contradict other doctors within that area. In the meantime, I hope you will follow the guidance in the link I sent before.
