@jesfactsmon Just reading your post I also remember the 50,s our Dr was right next door to the playground I use to go to and would stop in just to say Hi He always had the time for kids and adults then now you don't dare do that . Good memories Hank

@lioness exactly! I believe then the community took a part in disciplining our kids. The kids may have gotten punishment from neighbors or at the least the parents were told of the wrong doings. The parents then actually disciplined their kids. Kids today have NO RESPECT for their elders. Although we have made the advances in technology and science today, I truly believe life “in the old days” was a much happier time!
