Neuropathy in feet and limited toe movement?
Just curious as I was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy in the beginning of this year but have yet to see a neurologist about it (postponed till end of June due to COVID19). I have constant pins and needles, numbness, pain in both my feet. It's gotten worse over the years (been dealing with it for ~10 years and never went to a doctor about it due to lack of insurance) and now I can no longer even bend my big toes at all and even bending any other toes are rather difficult. Just wondering is this common...anyone else have this?

@jimhd I do remember Burma Shave, but not these jingles! What a hoot! Love this one!!! Lori
@jimhd I just went to the Burma Shave link and read many of the road side quips. Quite funny and clever! I adore poetry and write poems quite frequently. Look up Ogden Nash poems. I think you would just love them, as many have that quick, intelligent, Burma Shave feel. Thanks for sharing. I am now gonna go read some more! What a riot! Lori
W O W ! ! ! Crazy stuff.
@rwinney ,
WOW that’s some list!!
Are you sure your not a hypochondriac or have Munchausen syndrome? lol
Regardless whoever gets that list is going to earn their money or just give up, one of the other. I know your symptoms aren’t funny but when I saw the size of that list I did chuckle.
Jake
@jakedduck1 I understand your chuckle Jake.🤣 I chuckle myself at the ridiculousness of the situation. I want to clarify that this personal list, which I'm obviously not shy to share and keep things pretty real, is a compilation over the past, ohhh 2-3 years. I started the list because I WAS feeling like a hypochondriac and needed to write symptoms down for validation that they were actually happening, and to reflect on my health as a whole. Trust me, I'd have conversations with my mom and husband about my concerns as things just kept piling one problem after the other. Thankfully, they assured me I was no hypochondriac and medical proof was there. I want to clarify that several entries are repeated and many have ended. The reason I like this list is, it reminds me of how far I've come with symptoms so I can be reminded of progress when I'm feeling down, discouraged and overwhelmed by the symptoms that remain. A method to my madness Jake. I hope you are well and thank you for giving me a chuckle.
Best,
Rachel
@lorirenee1 Thanks for your concern Lori. You can read my reply to @jakedduck1 and understand a bit more. The compilation will be cleaned up, narrowed down and prioritized. I'm happy and relieved to leave a lot behind but, would like Mayo to understand my journey to this point, as they hopefully help me let go of the past, handle the present and hope for the future. I'll be ok. I'm a tough cookie, like you.
Hugs, Rachel
Tough cookie who friend, good. Tough cookie who chocolate chip, bad. You friend, so good. Just do not turn into tough chocolate chip cookie. That be bad. 😉
I had a beer with a shot just before I wrote the last post. Just to explain. 👏
@jesfactsmon
Hi Hank,
Perhaps you better forgo the shot and see how it goes. I was so confused, of course it doesn’t take much to confuse me.
Take care,
Jake
Yeah Jake, I was confused too. Turns out that alcohol and writing don't mix. Who knew? That is unless you're James Joyce or Ernest Hemingway. Best, Hank
