So sad: Husband has glioma and I feel he is fading away

My husband has a grade 2 glioma and I feel as if he is fading away. He mixes up words and is very quiet. He just finished his first week of chemo and radiation.

I thought things couldn't get much worse but just found out that my 39 year old daughter has lymphoma. I feel like I can't take anymore and cry constantly. I have no patience with my husband and feel he is not trying his hardest. We also lost our primary doctor and my husband has been refused 2 doctor appointments because of his temperature caused by the heat. Help

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter's new diagnosis. I'm sure it is very hard having to deal with his depression and things and I'm sorry about your doctor. I pray you start having an easier time and find a doctor you both are comfortable with. I know it's hard being away from your daughter and granddaughters especially at a time like this. I am blessed that all of mine are within traveling distances.

They have changed her diagnosis to cancer of the Thymus. They will be doing a nuclear test on her next week

@rosez - She has a definite diagnosis - hope this is easier to treat than lymphoma.
From my own experience with cancer I found the time between diagnosis and start of treatment more anxiety provoking than surgery and start of chemo.
We are thinking of you and your daughter and hope you continue to share.

@rosez, I'm glad that they are getting more clarity on your daughter's diagnosis. Here are some discussions about thymus cancers. There are 2 main types: thymoma and thymic carcinoma

I can't believe that my life has gone from bad to worse. My husband has an inoperable brain tumor and now so does my daughter. She is only 39 and has 31/2 year old twin girls. Her surgery was on Friday but they were unable to do anything. The tumor was rock hard and if they tried to remove it, she could possibly die. They didn't even remove her cancerous lymph nodes in her neck.

Therapist and 2 sisters. My children cannot be here bacause of the virus
