Yep, you can view the captioning using any browser, but if you are going to use the microphone, it needs to be Chrome. The reason is that if you use a microphone with Safari or Edge, Apple and Microsoft force developers to let them record the conversation. That goes against Streamer's goal of making conversations completely private and secure.
