I had partial replacement 4 1/2 years ago at 3 1/2 it loosened and had a revision to a total knee replacement. It has been one year this month sense replacement and I only have 100 degrees bend I had a follow up appointment this past Friday due to having server pain at night my doctor feels it is soft tissue causing the pain and I would probably agree as I have zero pain as long as I am up and moving. At this point he has no recommendations for me to correct this issue I can deal with the pain but the lack of sleep is really starting to wear on me I am currently 47 years old and very active sure wish I could find a solution.

I'm 63 and same....I can sleep though but I take 900mg of Gabapentin at bedtime. If I'm moving it's not bad but is a bit sore but I can live with it but after I don't move for 20-30 minutes it hurts and is sore where I want to take something that really doesn't help. Been told it's the muscles surrounding the replacement and need to be stronger. Done PT several times, do the exercises which make it worse but I do them and nothing. It got better or a while then worse again. Everything with the actual knee is good and CT shows no infection. I'm at a loss as well.
