@januaryjane- I have a couple of thoughts. With the recent cramps, bloating and diarrhea you could have SIBO Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. Many of us with IBS experience this. There is certain meds for this - Xifaxan for example. When I get it bad I feel pretty sick. With the facial redness you could have celiac disease- you may have been tested already. Food allergies can give you very similar symptoms. I think this is serious enough to discuss with your doctor. It has a negative impact on your life. Maybe you could have a tele visit?

Yes, ive talked to drs about sibo, had a breath test, was hydrogen positive. He put me on an antibiotic, not xifan, and it made jt worse. He was not a helpful guy, so i didnt pursue him. I mentioned something to my gastro dr, she didnt seem concerned. So i dunno. Ive been tested for celiac and do not have it.
