@artscaping I'm looking for a good CBD non-THC since it's illegal in Texas, oil and lotion. I can't smoke anything. My lungs say no to smoking. Since they found some nodules when they were x-raying for my broken ribs and internal injuries after an accident in December, I'm fine with that. I grew up with parents that smoked multiple packs/day. My husband smokes 3 packs/day. Growing up in the 60s etc., smoking was common. I'm praying that the nodules aren't growing. I am supposed to have a follow-up x-ray in June.
To address the Gabapentin question posted, I have Peripheral Neuropathy Syndrome in my feet up through my legs; also in my hands; Chronic Pain from lumbar replacement and stenosis, plus cervical stenosis. I'm on Gabapentin 300 my/ 3x/day plus Celebrix. I tried Savella and Cymbalta and had bad reactions to both of those meds. Therefore, my pain Dr and I agreed that Lyrica was not an option for me. I am a very small person and have a low drug tolerance. I've had terrible reactions to many drugs so we have to be vigilant. So far, Gabapentin and Celebrix are not causing anything unusual. I have migraines so memory loss was already an issue from Topamax before I started taking these meds. I'm also on Tramadol (3-4/day) and a muscle relaxant that I only take at bedtime since it knocks me out. Nights can be agony with my neuralgia in my feet and legs. And my arms go numb no matter what because of my cervical stenosis. Lucky to get a solid 3-4 his of sleep.

Good morning @gldnrtrvrlvr, You are facing some tough challenges, not the least of which is living in Texas when medical cannabis may be a good choice for you to try. If I read your post correctly, you live in a smoke-filled house and although you are not a smoker, second-hand smoke is not a good environment.

Have you recovered from your accident in December? I am going to invite @merpreb to review your post. She may have some additional suggestions and experiences to share.

Now to your request. Because you live in Texas, you don't have the advantage of having a neighborhood dispensary that can work with you on dosages and dispensing options. At the time I began using medical cannabis, at least I had a couple of coaches, including the owner of the dispensary. I began with Indica or hybrid vapes. They had both CBD and THC at different levels. If you read the research you will see that CBD and THC are quite similar at the component level. And it does seem that when the two are combined the THC gives CBD a kick start.

What do you want medical cannabis to do for you? Are you looking for pain relief and a chance to reduce anxiety and depression? I also am very drug-sensitive and just cannot use other pain relievers and do not want to risk any addiction or annoying side effects. This company has capsules, tinctures, and balms. Those without THC can be shipped anywhere. I currently use a 1:3 CBD/THC releaf balm and the THC rich tincture !:3 CBD/THC.

I have found that just like other medications our bodies become adjusted to one dosage and the benefits seem to peter out. Then it is time to evaluate the dosages and timing again. P and B is very responsive to questions you may have. You can also subscribe to "Leafy" an industry publication that is reputable.

In response to a non-thc cbd I would suggest 2 products which have worked for me: Shanti soothe balm and Shanti rejuvenate roll on. The balm has worked for my hand pain and the roll on which seems to be stronger I have used for my hip bursitis. I believe you can purchase this brand online; I wish you good luck in finding something which helps with your pain. Helen
