Neuropathy: Anyone have any experience with gabapentin?

@dckuke @jimhd I only take 1-2 tramadol in the middle of the day as needed, but I also take Diclofenac, Lamictal, Clonazepam, Cymbalta, Welbutrin, etc., etc. I use ice and heat and stretching and sometimes all of that together doesn't completely help, but most of the time my pain and neuropathy are bearable with steroid injections from my wonderful pain doc in my occipital lobe, lumbar spine and knees. I also receive pinpoint injections (not sure if that is the right term) in my upper back because it is always a wad of tension. These have been lifesavers! Lamictal is also an anti-seizure med, but I take it for Bipolar Disorder. Gabapentin never helped me and as I stated somewhere else I would fall when getting out of bed, legs would just double under me. I think I would do much better if I could get my diet and sleep hygiene under control, but given my current situation, those are tough. My problem is that I have so many things going on and sometimes fixing one does not help because of the others.

It is tough. Life before Lyrica was unbearable and Tramadol helps with other types of pain. I have found that good CBD ointments are the only thing that relieves the burning and needle pain from toes to thighs and hands. One lesson I learned is that warm water on my feet dulls the pain and soaking them helps for hours.I cannot even count how often I stretch my legs in a day, which helps too. Good days and bad
