@colleenyoung That is good that you can do that with your Mum. If mine was still alive I would have tried to do the same except she lived in a different country. I used to go over and look after her whenever she had surgery.
As far as the stores are concerned there is very little change here. We have some extremely early hours for seniors to shop, which we don't use and all other businesses are closed. We have the usual lock down and we sit and wait. My daughters in Canada have had much more done in their stores with the plexiglass etc.

@merpreb, moms are special. And heck, my husband is renovating and my daughter is 16 going on 17. I'm happy to get away from the construction noise and dust, and the teenage eye-rolling. LOL.

@pollyanne Putting up a barrier in grocery stores must be a Canadian thing. My mum lives in Canada, too. I hope the practice will be adopted in the US as well.
