Visual Escapes and Daily Inspirations: Share Yours
Let's create a space to offer a daily reprieve.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of uncertainty and fear into our lives. Some of that fear and uncertainty can be caused by over thinking what is going on or unnecessarily worrying. So, I'm making sure I wash my hands frequently, not touching my face, staying away from social gatherings and all of the recommended guidelines to help avoid getting or spreading COVID-19 but it can be a little boring. I try to not watch news all day long while I'm in this self imposed captivity. I like to take pictures of birds and other creatures from my window as a welcome break.
I invite you to join me in sharing pictures, favorite poems, sayings, mottos, funny moments. Let's take a daily break together.

The art work was for a "get well" collage that we did for a co-worker!
@amandaburnett What a neat idea! I love it. I just may borrow this idea for my next group card.
More than welcome to! It was a great group effort by all. I just loved including the pets and kids!
@zeiracorp, Oh my goodness, Z, this all opened after our visit but how much fun to see that my frugal forebears looked to make some coin by building it into a visitors' site. Honestly, glad to have been there when we were though because if wasn't touristy but hauntingly still and mysterious. Thank you so much for sharing the link...what a memory starter for the day! An across-the-street neighbor grew up in Scotland and moved here 10 yrs ago. I so enjoy listening to her talk; she is a grand and humorous story teller.
@amandaburnett, What a thoughtful collaboration!!! ...and now we know the "rest of the story" of your adorable daughter and puppydowg. P.S. Bet you were the idea starter and you are looking great too!

@zeiracropz wonderful thanks
Very nice- reminds me of Keith Jarrett which I like a lot. Big Thanks.
Today my sister sent me a picture of one of her new kittens. They are not related except being raised in same foster home. Typical of kittens, what one doesn't think of, the other one does. Here, Charlie got between screen and sliding door, confused what to do next!
Ginger
@gingerw, How this tickled my funnybone....until, I realized how often I find myself in a similar predicament! Laughter is Best!!
