@virgo, Lioness made great mention of the marigolds that ward off harmful critters because of their odor. Cannot believe I have such a challenge coaxing my yearly marigold seed to sprout...supposed to be..sigh...one of the easiest but I get better results with more finicky seeds by far. and..hint, hint, if you find some extra ladybugs...my mailing address is.....
