Hi Sue! @sueinmn, that is really good news about your daughter. We have 5 cases here in Dodge County and I think there are 34 cases in Olmsted County where Rochester is. Birds are really fun to watch. I do need to rethink my bird feeder near my window and see if I can get a better one so that I'm not getting the squirrels any fatter than they already are. It's usually good until we get a good amount of snow which makes it easier for the squirrels to jump over the guard on the feeder. Will continue to pray for a quick recovery for your daughter. I really worry about our daughter working at Mayo in the Orthopedic Surgery area. I think she said they take their temperatures 2 or 3 times a day and now she may get a chance to schedule some of her days with another coworker to work at home. I think one of them has to be in the building.

Health care workers are our heroes. We owe them a great debt and gratitude and we must remember them and their families in our prayers.

Just a thought, I have seen people grease the fence or areas where the squirrels can climb. Kinda mucks up their climb. You would have to figure out a situation for the snow though. I wonder if the snow would fall off of greased areas? 🤷🏻♀️ I have to admit, squirrels are very persistent if they want something. Guess they have to be, huh?
