I was taking care of my mom for a few months while still working a F/T job and it was EXTREMELY difficult. But I love my mom and did what I had to do. But, I knew I needed more help once she wandered outside while I was at work!!!!! And all the home nursing places that I checked out was too expensive for my pockets and the cheaper nursing places (meaning the not for profit type of places) couldn't stay the length of time that I needed them to stay while I was at work. It was a LONGGGGGGGGG process but I applied for financial aid for my mom so she could get placed into a memory care center. Without financial aid it would have cost over $5,000 per month.
