@sakota9 I was delighted to hear from you. I go to Rochester also. I'm not scared of the anesthesia, but the first post-op day I'm fine, but the 2nd post-op day I start throwing up. It's only happened the last two surgeries I have had, but I guess all I have to do is tell the anesthesia and they give you something special so you don't get sick. Thanks for those smiles and prayers. Take care of yourself and my surgeries are June 9th and the 11th. It's a possible that after all the tests I have done next week they might only have to go into my back. From T-10 to pelvis is a long way, but I know they will get me straightened up and strong. You are a dear and I'm thinking of you with smiles and prayers. Jeanie

Hi Lilypad. I too have gotten sick from anesthesia but now I always tell them and they give me something but have had no problems in a long time. So make sure you tell the anesthesiaist this before surgery. I come to mayo on the 2lst of June. I have to have a test for the virus and that has to be done 48 hours before they can do any testing or whatever on me. Don't know if its the same for everyone or not. I will send you my phone number and if feel up to it, would come and meet you on the 2lst for a short Hello......... smiles and prayers Joan
