@merpreb. I would use any excuse to get out of a colonoscopy! When they said I should get another in either 5 or 10 years, I forget which, I felt like saying “catch me if you can”. The prep makes me so sick it’s horrible.

My guess is that if you expressed your concerns, your doctor would delay the colonoscopy 'till the summer. I expect that you should go forward with the procedure at the appropriate time.
