Thanks John. I've read a bit about neuropathy. My recent emg was negative so it's difficult to treat my symptoms when they can't isolate a cause. I'm trying different avenues of treatment as well as possible causes.

@beth11, EMG’s cannot detect small fiber neuropathy, (which is a possibility) that has to be done by a skin biopsy (punch test). That is what my experience has been, I was originally diagnosed with “arthritis” by a neurologist after receiving a negative EMG result.

My NCS and EMG was also negative but I've had two neuro surgeon and neurologist say I have Neuropathy. What good are the tests if the doctors disagree with results and cannot treat. It frustrating. I've been put on Gaba and if that doesn't work I'm supposed to take another medicine. My doctor put me on CBD which does nothing. Wish I had something good to report and help us all.
