If you live in Florida you generally avoid tans and use sunscreen when out walking. The sun is brutal this time of year. I leave sunscreen on my bathroom countertop to remind me to put it on my arms and hands or any exposed areas. Almost every car in Florida had tinted windows. Only tourists have tans or sunburn. I think we have glows instead of tans. I also use a tanning cream fairly often. I admit it does look healthy and nice but notice all the hats and sunglasses we wear down here. Rather have a fake one than a real one.

I don’t think there’s anything fake about you Mary, eerily scary yes but fake no.

@imallears , @fiesty76 Oh, Mary, you are sooooo right! I have lots of hats, use 70-100 neutrogena sunscreen plus facial suncreen and don't get spray tan or use a tan cream anymore. Haven't found one yet that doesn't turn a bit yellow. May be my skin, as I'm very fair and burn easily.....blisters all over as a teen/young adult and really dangerous for me. Thankfully, no melanoma yet, but I'm ck'd yearly and keep a watch for anything. I have to watch the tops of my feet! Sandals.......they can really hurt with neuropathy issues, too.
But, I still have a Vit D3 deficiency, so I stay on top of that, too. Mary, we wear sunglasses every time we go outside, correct? Those UV rays are bad for our eyes, plus I have sarcoid in my eyes and the light is a beast....but I can't survive w/o it....gloomy, gray days add up to depression for me if there're too many in a row. Have to have the sun.....blessings all. elizabeth
