@becsbuddy, While Golden, CO wouldn't be on my trek to Boulder, your mention of taking a break along your way at the Coors Brewery brought a wonderful memory. Mine was a teetotaler family growing up so when my friend asked if I would like to go for a tour of the Coors Brewery, I jumped at the chance. We shared an apt that first yr of teaching in Denver area and her boyfriend, at the School of Mines, offered to be our guide. I'll never forget how impressed I was by that tour and by the end-of-tour cheese and beer samples offered. To this day I remember thinking as I tried hard to take a few sips of the beer that I was finally grown up!

It took many more years to be able to finish one can of beer because it made me very sleepy. Yay to learning that the brewery is still in action! Your great idea of a refreshment stop along your way has me thinking of how important it is for each of us to reward those difficult-to-achieve efforts whatever the task. Smiles

In the meantime, I took my longest walk in months yesterday at our largest park that has a small stream running through. Both ducks and geese were taking advantage of the adjacent lake; a few families were at picnic tables and it was wonderful soaking up the sun while watching others celebrate the lovely weather.

@feist76, way to go, taking your longest walk in months!! Your weather sounds awesome. We're still hovering below and above zero and it's been windy. I'm still revving my engines. Lol
