I have to correct my words, it truly is “too cold” to walk outside in these frigid elements. Yes, I “tried” the last two days without getting very far before making a beeline for home. Yesterday, I found myself doing a half hour of floor exercises before learning what it’s like to be a hamster in my own home. After two miles, it was time to call it quits. That may be as good as it gets for this week. I will stay devoted to a daily workout “in home”. Enjoy the big game today, if for no other reason than to watch the commercials!

We will be watching all of it. We are excited and hope the Chiefs win! @joybringer1

Yes, it really is "too cold to walk" - windchills below -10F keep me inside looking out except for dire necessity! And it's been that here since Friday afternoon. Fortunately I am occupied working on a big project for my Master Gardener group and a little one for my grandsons, so except for stepping out one the deck to add seed to the birdfeeders, I am hunkered down inside. Will put a pot of soup on for the game tonight.

@jude07 You had me openly laughing with your “hamster in my own home” comment! I can totally get that vision as the past few days have us trapped inside too. I love winter but a walkeze outside isn’t happening! It’s brutal out there today with a -22 and windchill of -40. So, there’s exercise on the treadmill or elliptical bike, though often I still grab a book or iPad and do the hamster thing through the house. I make a circuit through the rooms, run up and down the stairs for about 45 minutes. Good for you, keeping up with your exercises! It’s so important for us to keep on moving! What are your favorite floor exercises? Do you target specific areas? My floor exercise routine focuses on core, hips, back and arm muscles. Really has made a difference in my overall feeling of well being! Lori.
