Thursday after the windy blizzard--noon and still 4 below zero. Sunny but with some light wind. A very MN-nice neighbor got his snow blower out and did lots of the sidewalks including my 1/2-block long one. I was really dreading having to clear that. Now I need to shovel the sidewalk to my front door for the mail carrier. I was able to put out some critter food on my back step this AM which the snow bypassed although my screen door had frozen shut. Not too hard to get it open. Our winter had been very gentle before this. Thanks for the hot tea toast! At least the power stayed on last night.
